Running an interactive competition through selected bars in Dubai to build up a targeted database of pub goers and those interested in Cricket.

How it worked:
Printed collateral was strategically located in specific bars throughout Dubai whereby customers could enter a competition for a chance to fly to England to watch the Ashes. They were asked to send in a keyword followed by their email address to a 4 digit Shortcode.
Eg SMS ASHES + [email address] to 6626
All entrants then received an automated reply SMS back notifying them that their entry was received and also highlighting a micro site that was set up inline with the campaign. At the same time their email Id would be verified and if the email was correct then a pre-loaded HTML email would immediately be sent to their email address. If the email address was incorrect then another SMS would be sent back, asking them to try again.
